In-Kind Support

You should have seen the look on the boy's face when he tried on a pair of new pants — the first new, with-the-tag-still-on clothes he'd ever received. You would have been delighted with the bunch of teenagers flying kites out in the softball field. They were like little kids! None had ever flown a kite before. You would have shed a tear of joy with the mother who couldn’t believe that a company would donate beds so her children would no longer have to sleep on the floor.

In-kind donations mean a lot to us. You could help us with services/expertise, important projects, purchasing giftcard or fulfill wishes from our wishlists.

Regulations now limit what can be accepted for use in programs for children and families. If you think you might have new or nearly new items that might be helpful, please call Sarah Norman at 916.290.8203 for more information.

Please note: The Sacramento Children's Home no longer manages a thrift store operation. The nearest not-for-profit thrift store is The Goodwill Store located at 6648 Franklin Blvd.
