Financial Support
A number of our friends have asked about ways that they might be able to provide more significant support for the Sacramento Children’s Home. Please consider these guidelines in your decision making. We hope this helps you to better align your philanthropic goals with our need for support.
SCH Children's Circle Giving Club
In honor of the Sacramento Children’s Home's 140th Anniversary Year, the SCH Board of Directors has inaugurated a new leadership group to recognize those who give $1,000 per year or more. Gifts at this level will be recognized with an insider's view on our work. As a member you receive a special invitation to a donor appreciation event in the fall, a virtual insider tour of a cottage and a day in the life our children, as well as special recognition in the SCH Thank You newsletter. Please note that auxiliary membership fees and costs associated with event tickets and sponsorship do not count.

There are different ways to donate cash. An easy way to donate is by using the secured online donation link on our site. Community members also like our Honor/Memorial Cards. Please remember that cash donations are tax deductible – for every donation, we gladly issue a receipt. There are more ways of providing financial support like sponsorships, event hosting, and planned giving.
Please know: unrestricted gifts provide the most flexibility in meeting the needs of SCH. Appreciated stock, valuables and property are also gratefully accepted and easily converted into support for our children and families. We also have many specific giving categories, a number with naming opportunities with which to commemorate the generosity of the donor or a person they wish to honor. We are also very grateful to businesses and corporations that provide gifts or in-kind support and make sure the community knows of their help.
