SCH Guild
The SCH Guild originated in 1957 when Helen Merin Ray, a member of the Sacramento Children’s Home Board of Directors, saw the need for a n auxiliary group. The Guild was formed to promote and advance the welfare of the Home. Their primary goals are to raise money to assist the Home with operation and service expenses. Since inception, the Guild has raised nearly 1.5 million dollars for the Home!
Join the Sacramento Children’s Home Guild now! You will feel great knowing you are helping support the local community, most importantly helping abused and neglected children & their families who desperately need our help. At the same time, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, enjoy group activities, and have a lot of fun!
The Guild meets every other month, September through May. Annual dues are $50.00, which assists in Guild operations and activities. Even if your time is limited, there are volunteer activities you can do from home, such as writing letters, e-mail, or phone calls.
