What a year! We had an amazing time celebrating 150 years of giving children and families a better tomorrow throughout 2017, and we’re thankful for everyone who joined in on the celebration. We would not be able to provide the most comprehensive spectrum of programs without your support.
Nearly 500 business leaders and dedicated supporters attended our first-ever Business Luncheon in February, where we honored a few of our corporate partners for their philanthropic commitments to the community.
We then held the Family Fun Day and Health Fair in April, which provided the perfect opportunity for the Sacramento Children’s Home to celebrate its 150th anniversary with the community.
The year finished with the 150th Anniversary Gala, held at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in September. The event saw 400 of Sacramento’s community leaders and SCH supporters come together for a black-tie affair which raised over $400,000 for our crucial programs.
As we look ahead to the next 150 years, we are grateful to our community for supporting us, not just during our 150th anniversary, but for each and every year in the past and in the future. Thank you.
